The origin of PMC-Colinet™ dates back over 100 years ago, when the PMC Industry Corporation (PMC) was founded in Ohio in 1912 and Les Ateliers Armand Colinet (Colinet) was founded in Belgium in 1920.

 

PMC and Colinet merged in 1999 under the wings of Park Ohio, creating PMC-Colinet which has since evolved into a global leader by consistently delivering customer-focused, high-performance solutions.

 

From pioneering carbide-tooled pipe threading machines in 1958 to adopting the latest CNC and tooling technologies, PMC-Colinet has grown by continuously adapting to industry needs. Our ability to provide complete, turnkey solutions across industries has made us a trusted partner worldwide.

1912

PMC Industry Corporation was founded in Ohio, setting the stage for over 100 years of innovation in rotating head threading machines and handling equipment.

1920

Les Ateliers Armand Colinet (Colinet) was founded in Belgium to service the mining industry.

1958

PMC industries introduced the first carbide-tooled threading machines, marking a significant advancement in the industry.

1985

Creation of Mecanique de Precision Colinet as a successor to “Les Ateliers Armand Colinet”. Owned “CRIDAN” intellectual property, setting the stage for more than 50 years of innovation in rotating product threading machines and handling equipment.

1999

PMC & Colinet merged and became part of Park Ohio under the trademark “PMC-Colinet™ “, strengthening its position as a leader in the oil field market and expanding its global reach.

2015 & Beyond

Expanded into new markets, including rebar machining, the railway industry, and defense, showcasing their versatility and commitment to diversification.
